Zack's Story

Over the years I have helped many dogs with extensive problems but Zack had several behavioural and psychological issues, his main problems were nervousness around people, attention issues and periods where he would bolt but more importantly he would chase any animal that crossed his path. After working with Zack for many weeks it was evident that the problems lay with both Zack and his owner and a short while later Zack's owner asked me to kennel him with a view to re-homing him if he was ever rehabilitated. It was from that point our journey began and 12 months later he was steady on game, hunting and stopping to the whistle and coming when recalled. By using consistency and positive reinforcements in my training I was able to achieve a balanced relationship with Zack. In March 2010 Zack was re-homed and was given the quality of life he deserved. |
